Bath time is a great time for learning. Kids are engaged, less distracted and looking to play (we are also less distracted!).

Letter fishing is an awesome way to play in the water, work on letter sounds and develop fine motor skills.

This is what you need:

• Tongs: We used Learning Resources tongs - Amazon Link

• Foam Bath letters: We used Munchkin 11020 Bath Letters and Numbers - Amazon Link

How to Play:

• Place all the letters in the bath and hand your child the tongs. Ask them to "catch" the letters using their tongs. 
• when they retrieve a letter name the letter, say a keyword associated with that letter and say the letters sound. E.g. s - snake - /s/
